Retail Learning Institute (RLI)
The Retail Learning Institute’s mission is to advance leadership and vocational learning to support the growth of people, workplaces and communities.
Since 1988 the Institute has been dedicated to provide learning resources for food retailers worldwide. As an educational organization, it serves more than 8,000 businesses with blended training programs that include 140+ industry-specific online courses in a Learning Management System (LMS.) The Institute program has become the learning platform of independents, regional chains, wholesalers, associations, and non-profits all over the world. It is available in Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin.

IGA Coca-Cola Institute (ICCI)
The IGA Coca-Cola Institute’s mission is to advance leadership and vocational learning to support the growth of people, workplaces and communities.

American Ladder Institute
ALI, the American Ladder Institute, is made up of members from the US and Canada who are ladder manufacturers and manufacturers of ladder components. It was founded in 1947 and is a Chicago-based nonprofit association dedicated to promoting safe ladder use. ALI is the ANSI approved developer of safety standards for the ladder industry.
The mission of the American Ladder Institute is to promote the safe use of our products as well as advance the common business interests of our members through a commitment to:
- Development and dissemination of appropriate standards.
- Education of the public as to the proper selection, care and safe use of ladders
- Representation of the interests of its members
Beef Checkoff
Through the Beef Checkoff’s partnership, the Institute offers four courses: Modern Consumer, Raising Beef, Nutrition and Health, and Beef Basics. These courses were created to increase knowledge to better serve and inform customers of the cuts, benefits and trends of beef.

FARE
FARE is the world’s leading non-governmental organization engaged in food allergy advocacy and the largest private funder of food allergy research. The organization’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the health of individuals with food allergies, and to provide them hope through the promise of new treatments.
In an effort to create a safer dining environment away from home for the 32 million Americans living with a potentially life-threatening food allergy, FARE launched the FARECheck program to strengthen food allergy safety and awareness in food service. Grocery Stewardship Certification (GSC) Program:
Since launching in 2012, the Grocery Stewardship Certification (GSC) has enrolled more than 800 grocery stores in the United States and Canada. While there are a number of programs that focus on high performance buildings, Manomet’s GSC program is the only certification program to expand into employee practices and procedures to engage all stores within a chain. The Ratio Institute:
The Ratio Institute is a project of Ecology Action, an entrepreneurial non-profit, and part of a larger organizational infrastructure with a deep bench of experts providing a broad range of services, from conservation behavior change to commercial building efficiency. Midwest Dairy Association
Midwest Dairy Association works on behalf of dairy farmers to increase dairy sales, foster innovation and inspire consumer confidence in dairy products and practices. Their Introduction to Dairy course is a one-hour interactive session and will help you increase dairy sales. The course is designed for dairy department managers and clerks providing answers to questions your shoppers might have. In addition, you’ll get an overview of the full dairy product life-cycle including: dairy farming today, milk safety and processing, dairy product facts and managing the dairy department.

National Grocers Association (NGA)
The National Grocers Association (NGA) is to ensure independent, community-focused retailers and wholesalers the opportunity to succeed and better serve the consumer through its policies, advocacy, programs and services.
The NGA is the national trade association representing the retail and wholesale grocers that comprise the independent sector of the food distribution industry. Also represented are affiliated associations, manufacturers, and service suppliers, as well as other entrepreneurial companies that support NGA’s Mission and Philosophy.
